REO Asset & Renovation Manager SFR / Small Multifamily
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced REO Asset & Renovation Manager SFR / Small Multifamilyto oversee the rehab, fix-up, and resale (disposition) of single-family homes (SFR) and 24 plex properties at scale.
This is not a traditional property management role. It is not facilities coordination and it is not new construction project management.
We are looking for someone who has successfully managed high-volume rehab and resale portfolios for investors, with deep experience in remote project oversight, vendor management, and investor reporting.
The ideal candidate has overseen 50+ rehab / disposition projects at one time, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to maximize returns for financial investors while maintaining quality and compliance across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee rehab projects remotely, from acquisition through resale, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline standards are met.
- Manage multiple contractors, vendors, Real Estate Analyst, and agents simultaneously.
- Approve budgets, verify contractor draw requests, and coordinate fund releases per protocol.
- Use virtual inspections and third-party verifications to confirm work completion.
- Prepare and deliver bi-monthly investor reports and host update calls on project performance.
- Direct marketing and sales efforts with agents to maximize disposition value and speed.
Qualifications Must-Haves
Direct experience overseeing 50+ SFR or 24 plex rehab / disposition projects at scale (simultaneously, not just lifetime).At least 50% of experience managing projects remotely (preferably more).Investor-facing experience : worked directly with financial investors providing capital (not tenants, not lenders).Proven vendor / contractor management skills at volume.Strong background in remodel / rehab (not just new construction).Rental management experience acceptable only if paired with rehab / disposition experience.Verifiable employment history (not solely self-employed in most recent role). Gaps with self-employment are acceptable if balanced with team / company-based roles.Comfortable with a high-volume, fast-paced environment where accountability and reporting are critical.Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)
REO / distressed property management background.Real estate license or GC license.Experience with portfolio reporting software, DAWS, or construction / Real Estate Analyst tools.Compensation
Remote (U.S.-based) : $85,000 $105,000 / year DOEPerformance bonus potentialremote work
