Our client is a global chemical company whose products are used in many different industries. They are looking for a Technical Service Engineer to add to their team in the greater Houston area.

As a Technical Service Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

Utilize technology development to aid in business growth
Interface with customers and sales teams to define customer’s needs
Provide technical knowledge as needed
Consistently provide techniques to advance product development
Manage all necessary documentation, reports, and presentations

Salary Range : $165,000 - $180,000

As a Technical Service Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following :

BS in Chemical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Sciences, or another relevant degree

4+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Technical Service, or another related field

Must have previous experience in polymers (polystyrene, polypropylene, polyethylene)

Must have previous experience with injection molding, extrusion, and / or thermoforming

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

Willing to travel domestically and internationally around 30%
