While this role will be listed through David’s hiring channels, the Operations Analyst will operate exclusively within Epogee’s independent team, leadership, and mission.
Role and Responsibilities :
We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Operations Analyst to support our commercial and regulatory functions. This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City. The ideal candidate will bring operational horsepower, analytical sharpness, and a strong sense of ownership to help keep cross-functional workstreams aligned and moving forward.
You will report directly to the General Manager and work tangentially with all company partners.
Responsibilities :
Commercial & Regulatory Execution
- Manage customer- and region-specific deliverables to ensure timely execution of regulatory and commercial milestones.
- Support regulatory submissions by gathering technical data, documents, and tracking regional compliance requirements.
- Build reporting tools that map regulatory status across regions and products.
Partner & Manufacturer Coordination
Track material movement between manufacturing sites, warehouse, and customers to support accurate inventory and fulfillment planning.Help evaluate and onboard new partners by supporting due diligence, system setup, and early execution tracking.Data & Insight Generation
Build lightweight models and tools to analyze sales trends, production throughput, and regulatory timelines.Track KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turnover, regulatory approval milestones) and build recurring dashboards or reports.Support pricing, demand forecasting, and cost analysis with structured thinking and quantitative rigor.Systems & Process Building
Develop and refine standard operating templates (e.g., production briefs, manufacturing reports, and SOPs) to streamline repeat work.Champion continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing to help the broader team move faster and smarter.Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements to reduce them, improve accuracy, or clarify ownership.What You’ll Bring :
1-2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as consulting, banking, operations, or a startup.Proven ability to operate independently and execute amidst ambiguity. Will need to prioritize and execute tasks effectively on a daily basis, with a constant focus on execution.Strong collaboration skills and a “team-first” mindset — no task is too small.Analytical horsepower and comfort in presenting findings with clarity.Advanced proficiency with Excel / Google SheetsBonus : STEM background or curiosity around food science, chemistry, manufacturing, or supply chains.Practicalities :
