Position Summary :

As the Director of E-Commerce, you will spearhead the company’s digital sales and online presence, driving revenue growth through innovative, data-driven strategies. Leading a dynamic team, including email and SMS specialists, you will optimize user experiences, execute high-impact campaigns, and align efforts with the company’s mission to deliver exceptional products and captivating digital experiences that resonate with customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and growth objectives.
  • Identify market trends and growth opportunities to maximize online revenue and strengthen digital presence.
  • Stay ahead of e-commerce trends by leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to maintain a competitive platform.

Website Optimization and User Experience

  • Oversee website optimization for top performance, speed, and seamless user experience across all devices.
  • Streamline the checkout process to minimize cart abandonment and ensure secure, user-friendly transactions.
  • Implement innovative features to enhance the digital customer experience and boost conversions.
  • Digital Marketing and Media Buying

  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including media buying and retargeting strategies, to maximize ROI and drive traffic.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create multi-channel campaigns that increase engagement and conversions.
  • Analyze campaign performance using data to refine strategies and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Email Marketing & SMS Leadership

  • Lead the email & SMS team in developing and executing targeted campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and drive repeat purchases.
  • Optimize email and SMS strategies based on performance analytics to improve customer retention and loyalty.
  • Ensure consistent, compelling messaging that aligns with brand values across all campaigns.
  • Copywriting and Brand Messaging

  • Oversee the creation of persuasive copy for websites, product descriptions, emails, and digital ads that resonate with customers.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand’s voice, values, and value propositions to drive engagement and sales.
  • Product Launch Strategy

  • Partner with product development and merchandising teams to plan and execute high-impact product launches.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies that maximize product visibility, buzz, and sales across digital channels.
  • Analytics and Reporting

  • Leverage analytics tools to track site performance, traffic, conversion rates, and other critical metrics.
  • Deliver insightful reports to senior management with data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all analytical systems provide accurate, actionable data to support strategic decisions.
  • Team Leadership and Management

  • Build and inspire a high-performing team of digital marketers, web developers, email & SMS specialists, and other key roles.
  • Set clear goals, provide mentorship, and foster a collaborative, innovative environment that drives results.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources with precision to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in e-commerce and direct response marketing, with proven success as an E-commerce Director or similar leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in e-commerce platforms, SEO, digital marketing, media buying, email / sms marketing, direct response marketing, compliance and analytics tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to turn data into strategic wins.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and drive collaboration.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects with strategic precision. Must be a go getter that takes initiative.

  • Pay is DOE
  • Full-time schedule
