Remote Assistance Operator Autonomous Vehicles
As Remote Assistance Operator, you'll play a critical role in supporting the safe operation of autonomous vehicles. In this position, you will continuously monitor vehicle systems, make real-time decisions when intervention is needed, and ensure that every trip runs safely and smoothly.
This is a hands-on, in-person role based at our Remote Operations Center in Austin, TX, and requires strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Monitor assigned autonomous vehicles in real time using multiple camera feeds and the Remote Command (RC) interface
- Intervene proactively when necessary to ensure safety and compliance
- Document all interventions and observations using tools such as Notion and Google Sheets
- Conduct post-trip reviews and flag operational anomalies
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions and contribute to our knowledge base
- Track and report operational metrics
- Provide clear, concise handoffs to incoming shift leads
What We're Looking For Required
