The Quality and Safety Data Analyst

The Quality and Safety Data Analyst II reports to the Quality and Safety Director. This position aids in collecting and organizing data, conducting analyses, and completing strategic projects to support Heart and Vascular ICCE in their Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs. The analyst identifies and interprets trends or patterns within complex data sets. In the Heart and Vascular ICCE, the Quality and Safety Data Analyst provides support for the Heart and Vascular Quality and Safety Program, contributing to MUSC's academic, research, and healthcare missions. Key responsibilities include assisting in extracting and organizing data, analyzing it, and sharing insights with stakeholders. The analyst benchmarks performance and leads multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes based on established objectives.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience with strong knowledge in quality and performance improvement,
an associate's degree in a health-related clinical field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience with strong knowledge in quality and performance improvement.
Preferred experience in cardiac care.
