Revenue Analyst
This is a remote based position ideally located in Eastern / Central time zone.
Advance Local seeks a highly analytical Revenue Analyst experienced in goal setting, forecasting, and business modeling, providing vital support to our sales teams. The role centers around data collection, analysis, and visualizations, with the ability to report key findings to stakeholders. The Revenue Analyst will work closely with sales leadership to provide financial reporting and analysis to enhance organizational decision-making.
The base salary range is $60,000 to $70,000 per year.
What you will be doing :
Develop, analyze, and interpret sales data to build reports for stakeholders to evaluate the performance of the sales organization.
Utilize Data Visualization tools to analyze large data sets and communicate that data in a thoughtful and creative manner.
Support day-to-day inquiries from the sales organization, providing prompt and efficient resolution.
Build reports utilizing various systems including, NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, and Salesforce.
Apply analytical skills to aid in identifying trends, forecasting, and building models.
Partner with leadership in developing and maintaining workflows that support sales goal development.
Look for commonalities across business needs, recommend improvements in reporting and analysis, and leverage tools to grow capacity.
Participate in business initiatives by providing support with vendor contract negotiations, acting as a liaison with finance, calculating commissions, and leading special projects.
Our ideal candidate will have the following :
Bachelor's degreein related field or a combination of education and experience demonstrating ability to perform the job
5+ years of relevant work experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Finance. Experience working directly in or with a sales team is preferred.
Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with a CRM system (Salesforce preferred).
Experience with sales planning activities such as goal setting, forecasting, and budget setting.
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and V-lookups.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Highly collaborative, dependable, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with all levels of leadership.
Assertive, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
Experience working with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft BI, Google Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.).
