McKesson, a Fortune 10 company in the healthcare industry, is seeking a CCaaS Platform Solution Owner with deep expertise in Five9 technologies. This role is critical for modernizing, scaling, and ensuring the reliability of our contact center operations across North America. The CCaaS Platform Solution Owner will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the CCaaS platform, including workforce and quality management. As a strategic partner to McKesson's business units, this leader will collaborate with business leaders to understand their telephony needs, define the technical solution, develop new capabilities, and deliver exceptional experiences to our diverse customer base, including patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmaceutical companies. This role will own the technical solution, oversee engineering efforts, manage vendor agreements and costs allocations, and ultimately drive measurable value to McKesson.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of McKesson's contact center landscape and business capability roadmap.
  • Lead the technical strategy and architecture for next-gen telephony solutions using Five9 and integrated enterprise systems.
  • Design robust technical architectures including APIs, integrations, and network connectivity with risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee deployment of CCaaS solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Implement structured development methodologies to meet business demands and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Manage engineering teams and vendor performance, including RFP creation and vendor selection.
  • Optimize technology consumption and negotiate favorable pricing and service levels.
  • Align vendor solutions with McKesson's strategic goals through strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Deliver clear, consistent updates to stakeholders through executive summaries, technical diagrams, and strategic insights.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks while fostering collaboration across business units.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team aligned with McKesson's technology and business goals.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Develop and manage technology budgets aligned with business roadmaps and financial targets.
  • Oversee cost optimization, resource utilization, and ROI tracking for technology investments.
  • Stay current on emerging digital and telephony trends to assess their impact on McKesson's operations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on CCaaS technologies, driving innovation and transformation.

Minimum Requirements - Degree or equivalent and typically requires 13+ years, with 8+ years, of direct work related experience. Less years required if has relevant Master's or Doctorate qualifications.

Critical Skills

  • Hands on experience in contact center technologies, with a strong focus on CCaaS platforms and telephony systems.
  • Deep technical knowledge of the Five9 platform, including architecture, features, and integration capabilities.
  • Proven success in leading migrations to CCaaS platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized performance.
  • Experience integrating CCaaS with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, and workforce management tools.
  • Strong background in cloud computing and telecommunications protocols, enabling scalable and secure solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in managing vendor relationships, contracts, and technology budgets to drive cost-effective outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex transformation initiatives using Agile or DevOps frameworks within large, matrixed organizations.

  • Enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while balancing priorities
  • Knowledge of emerging digital technologies using AI, automation, speech analytics, data analysis and visualization techniques and their application in contact centers
  • Practical experience with Verint and Salesforce platforms
  • Self-directed and able to execute work independently
  • Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, solid organizational skills and proactive project management
  • Ability to act independently with sound business judgement
  • Flexibility to take on different roles and duties as required

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

    Our Base Pay Range for this position $178,800 - $298,000
