Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our client at a primary care clinic in Nederland, TX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with elderly patients and providing high-quality care. This role involves assisting healthcare providers with patient care, administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. The ideal candidate is able to act calmly in emergency situations.

Shift : M-F 8AM - 5PM (No holidays, weekends, or on call)

Requirements :

Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
Highschool Diploma or GED
BLS Certification
1+ year experience as a Medical Assistant

Plusses :

Knowledge of medical coding

Experience with E-Clinical Works (EHR system)

Primary Care / Internal Medicine / Family Medicine experience preferred
