Position Description :

This position provides an opportunity to play a key part in a new research laboratory at the interface of synthetic and developmental biology. Working in a state of the art lab at UCLA, incumbent is to contribute to developing new molecular tools for monitoring cell signaling and differentiation. Incumbent is to work directly with the PI to maintain and manage the laboratory.

Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Lab Assistant II will assist with laboratory procedures such as assisting with tissue culture and molecular biology tasks such as cloning and preparation of DNA and RNA as well as maintaining laboratory equipment. The incumbent is to work closely with lab members and collaborators in completing experiments and with keeping up-to-date records.
