Adjunct Faculty, Rhetoric and Professional Writing
SVSU seeks part-time faculty for fall 2025 to teach one or more technical writing courses such as Writing in the Professions (RPW 300) and Grantseeking & Proposal Writing (RPW 336). Primarily a professional writing course for business majors, RPW 300 emphasizes transactional writing as problem solving for the workplace. RPW 336 involves researching problems, writing proposals to solve them, and identifying suitable partners to fund or support the proposals.
Minimum Qualifications : Master's degree in Technical Communication, Rhetoric and Composition, or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications : College-level teaching experience preferred. Professional experience as a technical writer also preferred.
