Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Craft Instructor to oversee and facilitate standardized skills testing sessions. The ideal candidate has experience judging craft competitions impartially and with great detail. This role is ideal for someone who wants to use their commercial / industrial construction experience to help assess the next generation of trades at NCW.
Responsibilities
- Administers and evaluates a hands-on skill test.
- Follows a standardized rubric or criteria
- Is not a subject matter expert , but has been trained on how to assess outcomes
- Supervise test-takers during examinations and communicate results to participants and other clients
- Provide clear instructions to students regarding test procedures and regulations without training or coaching individuals
- Monitor the testing environment and maintain neutrality in a pre-employment context
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and any irregularities during testing sessions.

Bilingual in Spanish / EnglishKnowledge of electrical codeDemonstrated experience in people managementDetail-oriented and can convey constructive feedback to participantsPrevious experience with Inventory, materials, or tool management preferredData Entry / Excel experience preferredStrong communication skills to effectively convey instructionsFamiliarity or relevant experience in a training and development capacity
