Summary
The Facilities Architect directs development of design projects in coordination with the Lee Health Architectural Project Manager and Interior Designer for projects in both Acute Care and Outpatient facilities. Responsible for supporting, planning, designing, and construction administration for assigned capital projects. Activity involved in preliminary design planning, quality control, adherence to specifications, reports, observations of work, and liaison with users and architectural team. Coordinates with design consultants to establish project timelines and ensures projects are completed on time. Conducts initial meetings with stakeholders to address all project requirements, design constraints, and any other pertinent scope. Leads review of construction documents submitted by design consultants for completeness and accuracy including code compliance and AHCA acute care requirements. Acts as liaison with senior Lee Health staff to support user requirements.
