Network Engineer, Global Campus Engineering

Location : Beaverton – WHQ (On-site schedule : 4 days onsite / 1 day remote)

Reports To : Director, Global Campus Engineering

Summary

Are you a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with 7+ years of experience looking for a challenging role in a dynamic global environment? Join our Global Campus Engineering team and play a critical part in supporting the robust network infrastructure for world-renowned brands.

We’re seeking a Tier 3 Network Engineer who thrives on complex problem-solving, has deep expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, and can ensure seamless network operations across global headquarters, large offices, manufacturing, and distribution centers. This is a high-impact role with opportunities to influence the evolution of our network, especially in automation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Provide Tier 3 support for complex incidents, resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime in global campus and distribution environments.

Implement network configuration changes (switchport access, VLAN modifications, routing updates) while ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.

Use SolarWinds and Cisco Catalyst Center to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance.

Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama : deploying policies, troubleshooting connectivity, and ensuring secure segmentation.

Administer IPAM and DNS using BlueCat.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support connectivity needs for critical business applications.

Work on projects within an Agile framework , tracking tasks in JIRA.

Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting playbooks.

What We’re Looking For

7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Deep expertise in Cisco networking technologies , including :

Cisco Catalyst Switches (9300, 9400, 9500, 9600) – configuration troubleshooting.

Cisco Nexus platforms – proven data center experience.

Expert CLI skills for deployment troubleshooting.

Routing protocols : EIGRP and BGP.

VRF-lite segmentation experience.

Basic Cisco Wireless support (verifying trunking / AP connectivity; not controller or RF troubleshooting).

Proficient with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama for centralized management, policy deployment, NAT, VPNs, and troubleshooting.

Direct experience with BlueCat IPAM / DNS management .

Strong experience with monitoring tools ( SolarWinds, Catalyst Center ).

Familiarity with ServiceNow (or similar ITSM platforms).

Agile methodology experience with JIRA .

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment .

Relevant certifications ( CCNP, CCNA, PCNSE ) highly valued.

Growth Opportunities Nice to Have

Exposure to network automation initiatives .

Experience with Python scripting for automation.

Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center automation (template deployments, integrations like Slack bots for VLAN modifications).
