This position involves working as a general shop helper in a sheet metal shop. The successful candidate will operate as a floater, gradually receiving training in all departments, including operating a timesaver and deburring parts. You will also set up and operate Trumpf Punch Press and Trumpf Sheet Laser. Responsibilities include cleaning machines and maintaining the shop area.

• Maintain cleanliness of machines and shop area.

Work Environment

The work environment is a prototype sheet metal fabrication shop that operates as a union shop, with most employees joining the union after 90 days. The shop is clean and bright, and equipped with the latest Trumpf machines, emphasizing high-tech capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
