Tax Reporting Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Reporting Analyst to join our Operations team. You will manage the end-to-end process of receiving, tracking, and processing Schedule K-1 forms from a diverse portfolio of private investment partnerships. Your contributions will ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance, directly supporting our finance and tax teams. This position offers a pay rate of $35 per hour and requires the ability to work from our Cambridge, MA office at least two days per week and / or as required by company policy.
What You’ll Do :
- Track and monitor incoming Schedule K-1 forms across multiple partnerships and entities to meet deadlines
- Upload K-1s securely into tax preparers’ portals and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
- Organize and maintain digital records of all received K-1s in a structured filing system
- Update and maintain a centralized tracking system (spreadsheet or database) to monitor form status, deadlines, and discrepancies
- Collaborate with Financial Reporting and Operations teams (FROR) to resolve missing or delayed K-1s promptly
- Support compilation and reconciliation of K-1 data for tax reporting purposes as needed
What We’re Looking For :
1–3 years of experience in accounting, tax, investment administration, or document managementAt least 1–2 years of relevant experience working with K-1sWorking knowledge of Schedule K-1 forms and their role in tax reportingStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with document management systemsExperience with secure file transfer protocols and investor portals to safeguard confidential informationPreferred Qualifications :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldPrevious experience in a family office, tax firm, or investment firm environment
