Job Title : Business Development Manager

Location :

Greater San Francisco Bay Area (SF, SJ, East Bay); Candidate must be within driving distance from the Concord, CA, office location and willing to be at the office once per week.

Metro Elevator Northern California, Inc. ("Metro Elevator", "Metro") is searching for a highly motivated Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing new business opportunities to grow the maintenance business portfolio, proactively prospecting for new business, and build relationships with new customers.

Responsibilities :

Prospect and negotiate service contracts through presentations and differing approaches

Meet aggressive service portfolio growth targets in assigned territory

Qualify and pursue new customer leads to generate reoccurring maintenance revenue within assigned territory

Understand market conditions and customers to present tailored solutions to meet their needs

Grasp product knowledge of elevators / escalators by partnering with operations and sales management

Manage opportunities and pipeline in Metro's sales tools and provide accurate forecasting

Basic Qualifications :

Ability to work in a dynamic and face-paced, team-oriented environment

Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Demonstrate strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to create relationships internally and externally

Goal-oriented with strong organizational skills

Proficiency in CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (a plus, but not required) :

Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing or related field

A minimum of two (2) years of successful industry sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Knowledge of the elevator industry
