Chef Dominique Crenn, the trailblazing force behind Atelier Crenn and a global icon in culinary innovation, is bringing her boundary-pushing culinary artistry to Los Angeles. Poised to be one of the most anticipated openings of 2025, this new concept will redefine fine dining in LA through innovation, elegance, and hospitality at the highest level. We are building an extraordinary team to launch this landmark project—and are seeking experienced and driven Assistant Servers to help bring it to life.
As an Assistant Server, you will play a vital support role in shaping the guest experience, working closely with Captains, Sommeliers, and the rest of the front-of-house team to ensure each service is executed with seamless precision, hospitality, and grace. You are the foundation of the dining room, ensuring the timing, flow, and rhythm of service are flawless.
Position Summary :
Assistant Servers provide anticipatory, detail-driven support to Captains and the broader front-of-house team. This role requires a deep commitment to excellence, a collaborative spirit, and an unwavering focus on the guest. You will help create an environment where elegance and warmth go hand in hand.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support Captains in delivering world-class service, maintaining attentiveness, awareness, and discretion at all times
- Execute water and beverage service, tableside presentations, clearing and resetting, and other service touchpoints with grace and efficiency
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the food menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens to answer guest questions confidently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas and stations
- Communicate effectively with team members and remain in sync with the pacing and needs of each table
- Anticipate guest needs with sensitivity and professionalism
- Participate in daily lineups, training sessions, and menu briefings to stay informed and engaged
- Uphold and model our core values of respect, hospitality, creativity, and excellence
- Be a brand ambassador, embodying elegance, finesse and innovation
Requirements :
