Treasury Analyst

Make a difference. As a Treasury Analyst, you will perform detailed analysis and assist in providing specialized reporting to senior management that will optimize financial planning and decision making.

In this role you will :

  • Prepare and assist in the development of various non-recurring and recurring reports and forecasting models as assigned by the Assistant Treasurer, Vice President and Treasurer, or Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
  • Perform analysis on financial decision making opportunities such as rate of return, lease verses buy, capital budgeting, and lease internal rate of return
  • Assist in the preparation of the quarterly report presented to the Company's Finance Committee
  • Maintain and improve models that forecast the future financial performance of the Company
  • Perform banking functions, such as positive pay and reconciliation
  • Provide backup to other Treasury functions

What you bring to the table :

  • Minimum 1 year experience : Must have strong skills in spreadsheet and forecast computing, including Excel and demonstrated ability to understand and apply basic financial concepts; 3+ years experience preferred
  • Four-year degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or similar
  • Masters of Business Administration preferred
  • Knowledge of financial practices and techniques
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and how to apply them to the Company's proprietary models
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from large volumes of data
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of moderately complex treasury activities
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and exercise good judgement
  • Some travel required

    • Work Shift and Hours : Monday - Friday, standard business hours, in office

    Compensation Details : The expected base salary for this position is starting at $60,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible - based on specific and relevant business metrics.
