About the Role
Are you a risk management expert with a passion for data governance in the evolving world of AI? We’re seeking a Risk & Governance Lead to support our Investments & Capital Markets division. In this high-impact role, you’ll help shape and oversee data governance strategies specifically designed for model and AI-driven initiatives. You’ll be joining a team working toward a mission to make housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

What You’ll Do
Collaborate Across Teams : Partner with legal, technical, and business stakeholders to communicate model data risks and support risk-informed decisions.
Conduct Risk Assessments : Analyze data and AI project risk factors, and propose mitigation strategies.
Shape Governance Policies : Define and maintain standards for model data governance aligned with regulatory and industry best practices.
Promote Ethical AI Use : Champion principles of transparency, fairness, and responsible use of AI technologies.
Strengthen Security Posture : Work with InfoSec to address AI-related data security challenges.
Ensure Compliance : Monitor adherence to governance frameworks and provide guidance to support policy implementation.
Educate & Train : Lead training sessions to increase awareness of AI and model-related risk management.
Measure & Report : Help establish and track key risk indicators (KRIs) and performance indicators (KPIs) related to AI and model data risk.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in operational risk and compliance (technology, information, or model risk)
2-5 years of leadership or management experience preferred
Familiarity with AI technologies such as machine learning, NLP, LLMs, and computer vision
Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO / IEC, IEEE)
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Experience with data management best practices and enterprise risk frameworks

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $132,000–$165,000 with eligibility for annual performance bonuses. Your exact compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package—details available on our Careers page.
