Principal Engineer - Software Development

Location : Temple Terrace, FL

Onsite Requirement : Onsite

6 Month contract, potential to extend up to 30 months

Targeted Years of Experience : 10+

Responsibilities :

  • Conceive, experiment with, and present architectural approaches for application components.
  • Design new application components.
  • Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the entire product.
  • Proven experience developing strategic system architecture plans
  • Extensive experience in system and network creation and development
  • Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices
  • Analytical, conceptual and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience conducting technology, trends, standards and products research
  • Solid track record in prioritizing and executing tasks
  • Proven experience identifying, analyzing and resolving system problems

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important) :

  • Three or more years of experience in Telecom OSS / BSS development
  • Six or more years of experience with requirements gathering and business process flow
  • Three or more years of experience with Telecom services like Wave, E-Line, Private IP, Internet, and TDM (Private Line)
  • Experience using J2EE including Spring framework, Cloud development (AWS), message queues (MQ) and event sourcing (Kafka).
  • Experience developing both SOAP and REST based web services.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience leading a development team.
  • Strong System Design experience.
  • Solid understanding and experience using containerization technologies (K8s), SQL vs NOSQL
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across all levels of IT and business management negotiating project deliverables that align with customer and corporate business priorities.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.

    • EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS :

    Bachelor's degree or ten or more years of strong Software Engineering work experience.
