Maserati / Alfa Romeo - Automotive Apprentice Technician

Certified Technician Position

Maserati / Alfa Romeo is looking for a Certified Technician for our Austin, TX location. Technicians with Chrysler / Dodge experience are encouraged to apply as Alfa Romeo vehicles are equipped with Mopar parts and have similar systems and repair processes.

Job Summary

A Certified Technician fixes, inspects, and maintains Alfa Romeo and Maserati vehicles. Main duties include using tools to identify and diagnose potential issues with a customer's vehicle, explaining problems with the vehicle to the customer and performing maintenance on the vehicles to fix or prevent them from future breakdowns or issues.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Repair brake and steering systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
• Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
• Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
• Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
• Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Must read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
