ArtCenter College of Design is searching for an experienced Part-time Faculty Game Design to join our team. The salary range for this position : $5,990.00 - 12,583.00.
Final salary is based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.

ArtCenter College of Design seeks experienced, creative, and collaborative game designers to teach part-time in the Game Design track of the Entertainment Design program. We are looking for instructors with strong industry experience, a passion for mentoring the next generation of designers, and the ability to teach courses ranging from systems design and narrative design to level design, visual scripting, and production workflows using game engines like Unreal or Unity.
Courses may include introductory through advanced classes in areas such as :
Assignments may vary each term and include in-person, online, or hybrid formats. Faculty are expected to support students in developing a solid understanding of game design principles, critical thinking, and creative iteration while fostering an inclusive and engaged learning environment.
Assigned classes may be in person, online or a combination of modalities.

Union Membership
As a condition of continued employment within 31 days following the execution of this Agreement or the first date for which they are on payroll, either become a member of the Union and pay regular monthly dues thereto, or in lieu thereof, shall pay an agency fee (a service charge as a contribution toward the cost of administration of this Agreement and representation by the Union) to the Union each month.

Vision : Must be able to have the visual capacity to perform activities such as preparing and reading class materials, viewing a computer terminal and other normal office work with or without correction.
Hearing : Must be able to communicate effectively in the course of normal office communication or exchange ideas with or without correction.
