Accounts Receivable Coordinator

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for executing a range of routine tasks including preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing, and reporting accounts receivable transactions. This role involves processing incoming customer payments promptly and accurately, ensuring timely posting to accounts, and maintaining and updating databases, reports, and records essential to supporting the Accounts Receivable team's operations.

Responsibilities

Process incoming customer payments promptly and accurately, ensuring timely posting to accounts.

Maintain and update databases, reports, and records essential to supporting the Accounts Receivable team's operations.

Reconcile customer accounts and prepare financial statements and reports related to receivables.

Conduct analysis and reconciliation of billing cycles to identify discrepancies or potential fraud.

Ensure compliance with transaction verification procedures and internal controls.

Communicate professionally via phone, email, and written correspondence to resolve payment issues and respond to inquiries.

Uphold strict confidentiality of financial data in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

Maintain regular, punctual attendance and may be required to work evenings, weekends, or flexible hours as needed.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of experience within Accounts Receivable.

Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables / lookups preferred)

Experience with SAP or a similar large ERP system.

Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace sectors is highly preferred.

Experience with process improvement and cash application.

A degree is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This position is fully on-site in Simi Valley. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Simi Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr.
