About the Opportunity :

GreenLife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per-diem position in a rehabilitation facility located in Albuquerque, NM . This role focuses on delivering targeted therapy and support to patients with communication and swallowing challenges, helping them regain critical functions and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans
Deliver direct therapy sessions tailored to individual rehab goals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams for comprehensive care
Educate patients and families on carry-over strategies and home programs
Document assessments, progress, and discharge summaries accurately
Maintain compliance with facility protocols and industry regulations

Requirements

Qualifications :

Education : Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Licensure : Active New Mexico SLP license

Certifications : BLS certification required

Experience : Minimum 1 year in a rehab or acute care setting preferred

Technical Skills : Skilled in diagnostics, individualized care planning, and therapy techniques

Soft Skills : Compassionate communicator, team-oriented, flexible
