What to Expect
Megafactory Texas is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead, support, and manage a team of technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The team will be responsible for low volume equipment / process design and implementation as well as supporting transition from low volume to high volume production which includes line and equipment integration, commissioning and production buy offs. This leader will build a team that can work closely with a motivated and talented cross functional teams on multiple projects to support smooth launch and ramp of Megafactory Texas.
This role will be based out of the Greater Houston Area (TX) however will be expected to work in Lathrop (CA) to support early builds and validation for the first 6-12 months. Other travel may be required.
What You'll Do
- Support Manufacturing, Design and Production Engineering by setting up and operating pilot lines
- Set up work plan and priorities to the team based on business plan and needs. Align projects to drive department goals by managing operations and driving metrics in critical areas of the Manufacturing floor.Work with engineering and production team, understand the product, process, quality control plan
- Manage repairs / troubleshooting exactly to instructed process and ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire rework process and support no defects escaping the NCM area
- Responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations
