Responsibilities below are for multiple (7) companies

Responsibilities :

Set up of accounting software modules to allow for company-specific needs

Inter-Company Accounting / Billings / Reconciliations (10 companies)

Monthly billings for various farming activities, equipment use, capital projects, interest, etc.

Monthly Bank Reconciliations

Monthly and Annual Cash Flow Reporting

Monthly reconciliations of Payroll reports to Cost Accounting reports and G / L

Monthly & Annual Deferred and Capitalized farming entries and reporting

Overseeing of accounting activities done by other accounting personnel

Capital projects tracking / closing / billings for related companies as well as outside parties

Capital Asset software set up

Capital Asset additions, disposals, depreciation and amortization as well as reconciliation of asset software to GL.

Reporting / Coding / Paying / Prepaying of all Business Property Statements and Property Tax bills for over 40 APN's.

Recording / Tracking Crop Payments and Receipts based on expected receipts as well as adjustment to actuals

Year-End Cash & Tax Planning reports.

Year-End Reporting for use in Accrual to Cash Conversions for tax purposes

Year-End reconciliations and reporting for each G / L account as backup for annual accounting review by CPA.

Preparation of accounting reports and back-up as needed for audits by outside parties & government agencies

Training other accounting personnel for their various duties if / when needed.

Interact & maintain good working relationships with banks & financial institutions

Set up and maintain on-line banking needs

Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Skills :

Understands and follows GMPs

Familiar with HACCP Program

Familiar with Food Safety Program

Education : High School

Experience : 4-7 years

Qualifications :

Previous Controller / Financial Accounting experience.

Ability to travel in the North state.
