Job Title : Process Engineer

Location : Houston, TX

Job Type : Full-time

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our team from oil and gas industry. The Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing and business processes to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to streamline operations.
Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective / preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to resolve process issues.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of processes.
Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance process performance.
Monitor process performance through data collection, KPIs, and statistical analysis.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Train staff and stakeholders on new processes and best practices.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).

Experience of working in oil and gas industry.

Proven experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar engineering / operations role.

Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).

Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and workflow design tools.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards relevant to the industry.

Preferred Skills :

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Experience with ERP / MES systems and statistical analysis software.

Knowledge of automation, robotics, or digital manufacturing tools.
