Assembly & Manual Technician – Entry Level

Location : North Phoenix - 2688 E Rose Garden Ln, Phoenix, AZ 85050
Shift : Day Shift
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
Key Responsibilities :
Assembly Duties – you will learn to :
- Assemble mechanical or electromechanical components using hand tools, fasteners, and fixtures
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and basic assembly drawings
- Ensure proper fit, function, and alignment of assembled parts
- Perform basic quality checks and report discrepancies or non-conforming parts
Machine Operation duties – you will learn to :
Operate manual machines such as drill presses, saws, lathes, or mills under supervisionLoad / unload parts and ensure they are clamped or fixtured properlyMonitor machine operation and make simple adjustments when neededDeburr, clean, or prep machined parts for the next step in productionGeneral Responsibilities – you will learn to :
Follow all safety and quality proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with inventory, labeling, and documentation as requiredCommunicate effectively with team leads, inspectors, and managersBasic Skills & Abilities :
You will learn :
To use hand tools, measuring devices (tape measure, calipers) and shop equipmentRead simple blueprints or assembly instructionsYou must have :
Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in working with machinery and toolsGood hand-eye coordination and attention to detailThe ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating proceduresThe ability to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environmentEducation :
Minimum High School Diploma or GED requiredOn-the-job training providedPrior experience in manufacturing or machine operation is helpful but not requiredCompletion of vocational or technical training programs is plusmanufacturing technology, or industrial trades preferredPhysical Requirements :
Must be able to stand for long periods (8-11 hours per shift)Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching to access machines and partsRegular use of hands, arms, and fingers to operate machinery, tools, and measuring equipmentVisual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) necessary to perform precision work and inspectionsMust tolerate exposure to machining dust, oils, and moderate noise levels in a manufacturing environmentDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
