  • This position is onsite WHQ. Candidates must be local to be considered.
  • We're looking for a Test Engineer II in the Nike Footwear Lab with strong problem solving, results orientation, and multi-tasking skills. Test engineer II will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate the results to the teams.
  • Must Have :

2+ of hands on experience with universal test machines for products

  • Nice to Have :
  • Footwear or apparel testing in a lab with with machines

  • Mechanical Engineering background
  • Go getter, take initiative, very independent role
  • NOT looking for :
  • NOT a biomechanists or people testing, NOT a software engineering role

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We're looking for a Test Engineer in the Footwear Lab with strong problem solving, results orientation, and multi-tasking skills.

    WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

    You will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate the results to the teams. You will also assist more senior engineers on testing related projects, consult and train others in your area of expertise, and help identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency.

    WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

    You will work with product creation teams to ensure the quality of our footwear products.

    WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis, and / or equipment design is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skill with an ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audience required.
  • Experience with product and materials testing is required.
  • Experience with statistical analysis of data required
  • Basic knowledge of biomechanics and / or CAD would be a plus
