Job Summary
Under general direction from the Controller, the Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for processing necessary payments and ensuring all related documents have been submitted. Also responsible for depositing checks received in the office, applying to customer’s account, and reconciling clearing accounts.
Essential Job Functions
- Process account receivables and incoming payments in compliance with finance policies.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Prepare bank deposits and process credit card payments.
- Ensure all compliance and documents have been completed for billing.
- Review and reconcile AR clearing accounts.
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers.
- Regularly update and report on AR Aging.
- Send customer invoices.
- Perform collection duties on past due balances.
- Completes all required Company training / compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.Experience
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Accounting Field.This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.License & Certifications
