Purpose of the role
The Campaign Executive plays a social media focused and team support role. The role requires the ability to handle a number of projects at any one time as well as being able to respond quickly to online community and team requests. The Campaign Executive will develop a clear understanding of the team’s requirements and objectives, be proactive in attitude and supportive to the team at all times.
Key responsibilities and tasks
Digital / Social media
- Provides social media execution and management of related digital activity
- Implements and maintains social media communities, campaigns and projects for TEAM LEWIS’ clients
- Partners with account servicing to develop compelling and impactful digital content and integrated campaigns for both current and prospective clients
- Contributes to client growth and impact across the full spectrum of social media channels including, but not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram
- Production of social first copy for all channels using appropriate techniques and language relevant to each platform
- Proactively suggest new content based on social media trends, client priorities, and data-driven performance insights
Client Management
Develops relationships with clients, providing timely and professional communications both written and verbalOwns notes and actions after all meetings; provides insight around social media activities and proactively shares ideasFollows up with clients around deliverables to ensure timely executionAble to communicate / present campaign results when neededSelf-manages priorities based on client needsDiscusses priorities with Campaign Manager and adjusts accordingly, flagging spending more (or less) hours than planned or allocatedTeam working and development
Ensures personal and deliverable client objectives are met on an on-going basisManages up” to ensure projects are on time and complete, regardless of who owns the projectAccurately reports activity levels and regularly completes timesheets to ensure correct allocation of client dutiesEscalates general new business requests to appropriate team membersWorks closely with line manager to maximize own strengths, improve weaknesses and support individual and team career developmentSupports with the training of graduates and interns wherever possibleRegularly attends TEAM LEWIS training sessions and daily press briefings to enhance skills and develop knowledgeReporting and analysis
Ensures that all account activity and results are reported back to the Senior Campaign Executive / Manager / DirectorProactively tracks trends and insights from reports to make data-driven recommendationsCommunicates account performance internally at account reviewsDrives implementation of recommendations from reportingProvides reports to the senior management team on requestGeneral
Supports the agency and account servicing teams on ad hoc initiatives and projectsTakes a proactive role in promoting the TEAM LEWIS brand, its identity, values and workContributes and supports the continuous improvement of systems, practices and policiesAbout you
At least 1+ year of relevant experiencePrevious digital and social media coordination experience, ideally in an agency environment juggling multiple priories and deadlinesStrong understanding of the digital / social industry and related platformsA persuasive and convincing writing styleCalmness under pressure and ability to achieve tight deadlinesAbility to interact confidently with clients at a senior levelAbility to troubleshoot team and client problem areas – and suggest a remedial course of actionCreative thinking and an open-minded approachExcellent time management skillsProven competency in managing a varied workloadThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the responsibilities for this role. Base annual salary is determined by factors such as location, experience, and expertise.
