Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

This position involves providing support to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab. The role requires integrating education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to ensure safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a cardiologist. Building confidence and cooperation from patients, their families / support groups, and other healthcare providers is essential through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is crucial to ensure privacy and safety, contributing to optimal patient care. The role may also involve mentoring and training students.

Requirements

• RCIS or ARRT – Radiology. If ARRT (R), must have a California radiology technologist license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• year of experience as an IR Tech

Shift

x Days, Monday to Friday with start times between -. No weekend requirement, but includes rotating nights and weekend calls.
