Job Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic data architecture initiatives across PIMCO's enterprise.
  • Design and implement a robust data ecosystem supporting business processes, focusing on cloud migration, AI enablement, and digital transformation.
  • Streamline data processes, improve data quality and consistency, and enable analytical capabilities.
  • Build an AI-ready data foundation to leverage machine learning and AI for business decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or systems design.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
  • Experience with large-scale data migration projects and cloud transformation.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, financial risk systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Technical expertise in databases (Oracle, Snowflake), cloud architecture (AWS preferred), and programming (Python, SQL).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Preferred Certifications

  • Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Data Management (CDMP, DAMA).
  • Project Management (PMP, Agile / Scrum).
  • AI / ML certifications.
