AWS Cloud Architect / Java Coding

We’re working with a company that focuses on product content management. They have been rapidly expanding over the past five years and represent many global brands. They are hiring for an AWS Cloud Architect with Java coding experience.

In this role, you’ll focus on how the company’s software is hosted in the cloud. While it’s not a hands-on coding role, you’ll be expected to provide guidance on Java-related code when needed. Key responsibilities include assessing the current architecture, improving documentation, and shaping the system’s design moving forward. Experience with cloud cost optimization is important, as is familiarity with security compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. You don’t need to be a security expert, but you should understand how to build and operate systems that align with compliance best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience
• Experience working as an AWS Cloud Architect
• Java coding experience
• Experience working in SOC2 and / or ISO27001
