Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in project management within MEP construction, ideally with exposure to mission-critical or large-scale facilities.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle capital projects—from design through execution—while maintaining budget and schedule.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across internal teams and external stakeholders such as architects and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in project documentation including RFIs, change orders, contracts, and permitting.
- Willingness to travel frequently to various properties and project sites.

The MEP Project Manager will lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects within the Design & Construction team, beginning with a major new build in Norfolk. Responsibilities include developing project scopes, budgets, and schedules; coordinating with internal leadership and external partners; and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulatory standards. The role involves conducting field inspections, managing documentation, and overseeing cost control. As the primary point of contact for MEP initiatives, the PM will travel to various properties, support organizational growth, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. This position is expected to remain active beyond the initial project, offering long-term opportunities across the portfolio.
