job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role Knowledgeable in all areas of Janitorial Services Strong interpersonal and communication skills Basic and working understanding of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel Flexibility to work during emergency situations, as well as weekends and off hour shifts as needed Proficiency in the English language; Spanish a plus Good listener and able to accurately transmit information Highly organized, attentive to detail, courteous, friendly, hardworking, and professional Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure Eager to learn and take on additional responsibility Extremely dependable and reliable 8-am to 5 pm shift, but must be flexible to accommodate 2nd shift and weekend shift as needed.
Guardian Service Industries is currently looking for an EXPERIENCED Janitorial / Project Management Supervisor for major transportation center located in New York.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule staff for trash removal operation
- Inspect all areas and ensuring that standards are upheld.
- Schedule and maintain trash removal of all tenant areas and common areas of transportation facility.
- Inventory janitorial supplies and report to maintenance Manager
- Maintain a log of inspections and assessments
- Extensive experience directing staff to follow job cards and be ambassadors of cleaning excellence
