Position Title : Senior Enterprise Architect

Duration : 12+ Months of Contract

Location : Remote

Summary :

The Senior Enterprise Architect leverages technical expertise and leadership skills to design and implement enterprise architecture strategies, aligning IT solutions with business processes and long-term objectives. This role involves requirements analysis, solution architecture development, integration strategy, business process re-engineering, and lifecycle sustainability, ensuring business and IT alignment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead enterprise strategy, architecture development, and solution integration.
  • Perform business process design and re-engineering to support strategic goals.
  • Drive investment decision-making through architecture guidance.
  • Develop and maintain data engineering, BI solutions, and reporting frameworks.
  • Support cloud-based solutions and lifecycle management in Azure environments.

Required Skills :

  • Business Intelligence & Reporting : Power BI (Dashboards, Paginated Reports, RLS / OLS), SSRS, Cognos conversions, WebFocus BI.
  • Data Engineering & Cloud : Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle.
  • Programming & App Dev : Python, C#, VB.Net, ASP.NET MVC / Web Forms.
  • DevOps & Version Control : Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Domain knowledge in Human Resources (HR) is highly valued.

    • Experience :

  • 7+ years applying Enterprise Architecture principles, including 5+ years in a lead role.
  • 8+ years of IT experience in data engineering, database / BI application integration.
  • 5+ years in Power BI development and financial / operational reporting.
  • 4+ years in Azure environment (design through support).
  • 3+ years Data Warehouse design (SQL Server, Oracle, Databricks).
  • 2+ years Cognos-to-Power BI report conversions and HR data model design.
  • Additional exposure to SSAS, DAX, MDX, and WebFocus BI.

    • Education :

    Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
