Material Handler

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working  M aterial Handler  for a  t-shirt  company based  on Clements Ferry in Charleston, SC.  In  this  role,  you’ll play a key part in the supply chain process, ensuring  the efficient  movement, organization, and handling of inventory through the distribution center .

Pay Rate

17 .00 to $ 18 .00  per hour

Schedule and Hours

1 st  shift : 6 : 00 am until 2 : 00 pm, 6 : 30 am until 2 : 30 pm

2 nd  shift : 2 : 30 pm until 10 : 30 pm

3 rd  shift : 10 : 30 pm until 6 : 30 am

Material Handler  Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fold , tag, attach size strips, apply hangers, and repackage merchandise
  • Sca n, label, restock, and build boxes for shipment .
  • Build pallets and unload cases from conveyors
  • Repackage cases and scan items for accurate tracking .
  • Place repackaged cases onto the conveyor system .

Material Handler  Qualifications  and  Requirements

  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended period .
  • Comfortable lifting 50  lbs  regularly
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team .
  • Prior warehouse or general labor experience is a plus but not required .
  • Must be reliable and punctual .
