Overview Responsible for developing, validating, and improving quality processes to ensure compliance with aerospace and customer requirements while supporting manufacturing efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead AS9102 FAIR, PPAP, and process validation activities.

Develop quality plans that align customer, engineering, and manufacturing requirements.

Serve as MRB team member; drive RCCA and track process performance.

Support special process qualifications and maintain KPIs and metrics.

Create inspection methods, conduct Gage R&R and correlation studies.

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams on quality requirements.

Contribute to cost reduction initiatives through Kaizen, Six Sigma, and project support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred (Associate with 3+ years relevant experience considered).

Proficiency in GD&T, SPC monitoring, and MS Office Suite.

Knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100 / ISO 9001) and customer requirements.

Experience with first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

DQR & LCS certification.

Internal auditing of QMS.

VBA or Python skills.

Familiarity with CMM measurement (Zeiss Calypso preferred).
