Loader Operator / Block Labor

Position Summary

As a  “Production Loader Operator” , your general responsibilities will be working with the plant crew to maintain stockpiles. We load stockpiles of our aggregate into hoppers located at our concrete batch plants to keep them fed. The asphalt and concrete that we produce are key components to many Denver area construction projects.

Functional Responsibilities :

• Primary responsibility involves the safe and skilled operation of the Loader
• Strong understanding and daily compliance with Brannan safety standards and policies as they relate to a Loader Operator
• Daily compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies
• The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform thorough pre-trip + post-trip inspections daily.
• Assists in maintenance and repairs of the plant, conduct daily safety walk around making sure the plant is in safe working condition
• Ensure the plant is running at its maximum efficiency and if it is not, communicate this to the plant manager
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
• Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Must have a “safety first” attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public always.
• Ability to work various hours with overtime
