Position : Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Abilene, Texas

Employment Type : Full-time | Shifts Available

Sign-On Bonus : Available for eligible candidates

About the Role

As a Med Surg / Telemetry RN , you’ll play a vital role in caring for patients with complex conditions by monitoring and interpreting life-saving data. Using your nursing expertise and advanced equipment, you’ll help ensure the best possible outcomes while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Provide direct, individualized patient care using evidence-based nursing principles.
Connect patients to telemetry equipment, monitor EKG and heart rhythms, and interpret data.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to implement care plans.
Educate patients and families about treatment and recovery.
Participate in quality improvement, committees, and professional initiatives.
Uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act and professional nursing standards.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred).

Current RN license (Texas or compact state).

CPR / BLS certification required.

ACLS certification (must be obtained before completion of orientation).

NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained before completion of orientation).

Strong professional appearance, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
