Build & Release Engineer

Job Description

This position is responsible for independently developing build and release procedures for a particular release of a product. Skilled in innovating, developing, and maintaining build and configuration management. Contributes to the team and works independently. This position will provide support and deployment activities during the second shift, which currently covers Monday-Friday, from 3 : 00pm until 12 : 00pm with additional on call requirements for overnight coverage of our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

• Break down problems and estimate time for quality related tasks
• Increase task level and take on multiple projects at one time
• Become skilled with various configuration management, build management, and continuous integration tools and methodologies
• Become skilled with SDLC and methodologies like Lean / Agile / XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and testing techniques
• Collaborate with Product Teams to implement end to end Build and Release process for a specific release

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $76,800.00-$115,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI).
