job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMinimum of one (1) year experience in similar position Ability to read assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints. Soldering (IPC certification preferred) Experience with both metric and standard units Use of various hand tools (tweezers, crimpers, microscopes, wire cutters, etc.) Understanding of ESD and of how to work within an ESD controlled environment High school diploma or equivalent A demonstrated attentiveness to detailed oriented tasks Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards desired Experience with 5S and Lean principles desired
Electromechanical Assembler
Contract to hire
1st shift 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm
Summary
Will be responsible for assembling products in accordance with documented procedures and drawings. The individual must be self-motivated with a positive attitude that fosters a team environment.
Daily Activities will include :
- Prep of mechanical subassemblies.
- Assembly and wiring of power electronic assemblies
- Installation into cabinets; crimping, labeling, dressing
- Building wiring harness assemblies and subassemblies.
- Hand Soldering electronics assemblies desired but not required
- Final product assembly and packaging
- Peer inspection
