Snelling has a great opportunity for a Welder Fabricator for a sign company in Grand Rapids.
1st shift, 6am – 4 : 30pm M – F, 6am – 11am Sat when needed
19 – $21 based on experience
Responsibilities of the Welder Fabricator :
- Mig / Tig welding of metal components into a finished assembly using part prints.
- Demonstrate how to properly read a part print.
- Maintaining the gas tank system. Can change a gas cylinder properly.
- Utilizing weld fixtures when needed.
- Properly change wire, liner, insulator and contact tips as needed.
- Adjusting wire speed and voltage settings as necessary.
- Overall, the employee will demonstrate the proper knowledge to safely perform all facets of the Mig and Tig welders.
- Employee will follow all established safety procedures
- Employee will be responsible to follow all established manufacturing processes and procedures.
