Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Technology Procurement Manager to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for all technology-related purchases, ensuring that the organization acquires high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the interoperability between technology products and services, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Duties / Responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement strategies for technology products and services aligned with organizational goals.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and vendor management.
Collaborate with engineering and other departments to analyze technology needs and identify solutions that best meet business requirements.
Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and technology advancements to identify potential opportunities for procurement optimization.
Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers.
Monitor procurement budgets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and support.
Evaluate supplier performance and initiate improvement plans as needed.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and market analysis to senior management.
Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.

Required Skills / Abilities

Strong understanding of technology procurement processes, market trends, and vendor landscape.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in procurement software and tools; experience with ERP systems preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT / Technology procurement
