Director of Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead their web development team and drive engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a distributed team of web engineers while promoting a culture of continuous improvement Provide technical direction for web development initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions Oversee the software development lifecycle and ensure best practices in Agile / Scrum methodologies Required Qualifications 10+ years of professional experience in building and launching production-grade software in SaaS or similar industries Experience managing remote teams of 5+ engineers in fast-paced environments Strong portfolio of web applications with AI-driven features Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in modern web development technologies, including Ruby on Rails, React, and JavaScript / TypeScript
