Select Source Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive System Administrator II to support the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of our enterprise network infrastructure. In this remote role, you will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT systems—including LAN, WAN, servers (physical and virtual), and core operating systems.

Key Responsibilities :
Administer and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across the organization.
Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the availability and integrity of hardware, server resources, and key system processes.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network performance; replace faulty components as needed.
Manage data backup procedures and lead disaster recovery operations.
Maintain detailed logs and documentation for all network and system operations.
Monitor and analyze network performance, recommending and implementing adjustments to optimize functionality.
Install, configure, and maintain security tools such as antivirus and email protection systems.
Provide technical training and support to non-technical staff.
Support system upgrades, patch management, and software licensing compliance.
Assist in the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, including network modeling and analysis.
Maintain and track IT assets and hardware inventory.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a related IT infrastructure role.
In-depth understanding of networking protocols and principles (LAN / WAN).
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues.
Experience with system monitoring, logs analysis, and backup procedures.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business needs.
Preferred Qualifications :
Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, RHCSA, RHCE, CCNA, Microsoft Azure, or equivalent.
Advanced experience with system and network configuration, security protocols, and virtualization technologies.
