What is the opportunity?

The Senior Proposal Writer / Senior RFP Writer is responsible for supporting business development and business retention activities (revenue generation) by responding to questionnaires received by the sales or consultant relations teams and upholding a high standard ofmunication andpliance.

What will you do?

  • Serve as a project manager for assigned questionnaires and proposals,pleting to a high-quality standard within guidelines and by deadline. (60%)
  • Project management : Work to deadline to gather information from multiple sources across the firm and collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and sales representatives.
  • Editing and writing : Adjust standard proposal verbiage to address a specific question or appeal to a particular audience; draft new content as needed; and edit verbiage provided by SMEs or sales representatives for clarity, narrative consistency, and writing mechanics (including brand standards, applicable regulations / laws, and grammar conventions).
  • Content expert : be responsible within the RFP team for an area of content, owning the team's working relationships with related SMEs and capability specialists.
  • Participate in quality control process for the team as a senior proposal content editor and proofreader. (10%)
  • Assist team in maintaining content library within the RocketDocs application. (10%)
  • Proactively support teammates and partners as a subject matter expert when capacity is constrained. (10%).
  • Support process improvement projects and other responsibilities as assigned. (10%)

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 10+ years of asset management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of proposal management experience within asset management
  • Exceptional English language skills in editing, writing, and both written and verbalmunications
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management
  • Preferred

  • Fixed Ie and Alternatives proposal management experience

  • The expected base salary range for this particular position is $50,000-$115,000 for Minneapolis, MN; for Stamford, CT, $65,000-$135,000; for Chicago, IL, $55,000-$127,000 depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
