Audio / Visual Support Position

This position supports all phases and aspects of audio / visual support for Lewis and Clark events in an efficient and productive manner.

Prerequisites for eligibility :

  • Computer savvy and technically oriented
  • Basic understanding of digital AV recording and technology
  • Be willing and able to quickly learn the required technical skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Punctual and reliable with attention to detail
  • Good physical condition be able to lift 40lbs

Duties and responsibilities :

  • Transport equipment to the venue; set-up and test digital recording equipment (audio & visual) according to written / verbal orders.
  • Occasional "Meet & Greet" with clients; assist with file transfers, laptop connections, sound checks, lighting presets, and call for outside troubleshooting assistance when needed.
  • Assist with general office tasks including e-mailing clients, sending AV confirmation through LC's Event Management System (EMS), scheduling tech support for events in Google calendar, and making deliveries & pick-ups from on campus offices.
